Proxi-mate alarms systems have become the monitoring system of choice for hospitals and caring environments. The Proxi-mate is unique as it works by electronic proximity sensing. This means the alarm will provide the earliest possible warning of an attempt to mobilise unsupervised, move into a prohibited area or other monitored activity. It also only alarms when the user has left the bed or chair, and will not ‘false alarm’ when the patient has only rolled over or changed position.

The Proxi-Mate saves time and unnecessary disruption for nurses and carers as they are only responding to genuine needs.
Unlike traditional monitors, the Proxi-Mate sensors can be used across a range of patients. Alternative sensors can easily be connected as needs change and the innovative mounting system makes moving the unit from room to room a snap - no tools required.

The unit can loop directly into existing nurse call systems, or the nurse can have pager directly on themselves to allow for fast, personalised care.
