U-step Walker
Ideal for Parkinson’s sufferers or those who find it difficult to walk in a consistent manner, the U-step walker assists walking with its supportive frame. The frame surrounds the user, and the push brake must be held on for the unit to move. This prevents the user ‘over-pushing’ and falling over, or feeling insecure. Additional features include a laser which shines a line onto the floor, and a repetitive sound cue, both to prompt walking.

- Unique U-shaped base stabilizes and braces patient in every direction from falling
- Reversed braking system keeps unit immobile until brake handles are squeezed, allowing full mobility
- Rolling resistance mechanism enables patient to control speed
- Spring-loaded front wheel glides easily over uneven surfaces
- 23"W frame with tight turning radius for narrow spaces
- Optional Laser/Sound Cueing Module helps normalize walking and increase stride
