EquaGel Pressure Cushion 'The Adjustable Protector'

For Patients with high to very high pressure care needs.

Uses 2 layers of interconnected Polymer Gel cells with moulded pelvic trough which the patient immerses into without ‘bottoming out.’ Waterproof cover allows perspiration to be wicked away from the skin and cushion interface to the inner cover where it evaporates, providing dry skin. Open air cell design keeps the patient’s skin and tissue cooler, and therefore helps to prevent wounds and/or aid with recovery from pressure sores.

No pump, valve or adjustment required. All components machine washable. Tossit semi disposable outer allows EquaGel to remain in use whilst cover is washed. Used very successfully for custom fabrication.

Included are two different pelvic inserts that can increase the amount of therapeutic gel under the pelvic area from 1 3/4" to 2", 2 1/4", or 2 1/2" deep.
